Curb reseal
& restoration.
Faded, chalky or mildewed curbing — from any installer. We clean it, strip the old spotty sealer and bring the color and the shine back.

Any curb, any installer

Ten-year-old curb.
Brand-new curb.

Don’t remember who installed your curb? No worries — we’ve got you covered. We can make a ten-year-old curb look brand new again, whether that means removing old spotty sealer, dirt, mildew or years of buildup.

And if your curb is only a couple of years old but needs some care to get its original luster back, we do that too.

When to reseal

Signs your curb
is due.

Sealer is what repels water and minerals, blocks yellowing from direct sun and keeps secondary colors from fading. When it wears, you start to see it.

Faded or chalky color

The curb looks dull and dusty instead of rich, especially on runs that take full afternoon sun.

Spotty old sealer

Patchy shine where the previous coat has worn unevenly or started to flake.

Dirt, mildew and buildup

Green or black staining and years of grime, most often on shaded runs and beside downspouts.

Secondary color fading

Antique release colors on stamped curb washing out, so the pattern loses its depth.

Water soaks in

Rain and sprinklers darken the curb and soak in, instead of beading on the surface.

It is past 18 months

We recommend a reseal after the first year, then every 18 months after that.

How it works

Clean, strip,
reseal.

The same sealer we put on every new colored and stamped curb we install.

  1. Step 01

    Clean

Dirt, mildew and years of buildup come off so the new coat bonds to the concrete, not to grime.

  2. Step 02

    Strip

Old, spotty sealer is removed so the finish comes out even along the whole run.

  3. Step 03

    Reseal

A solvent-based 100% acrylic sealer goes on to repel water and minerals, prevent yellowing and stop secondary colors fading.

How often

After year one,
then every 18 months.

Resealing is the only maintenance concrete curbing needs. Keeping to that rhythm keeps the color rich and the surface shedding water, so the curb looks the way it did on install day for years.
